After Creating the categories, layouts and graphs, the next step is to insert the graph into the dashboard.

After adding a layout, areas reserved for each graph are delimited by dashed lines, as shown below. Click on one of the column icons to select and customize the graph you want.

Editing a graph

This mode allows to configure a graph with the selected information. For this end, type the name of the graph created previously, in the field Select an Indicator.

A basic graph will appear to the left of the mode, still without data:

General Tab

List of functions that may, or not, be activated:

Consider balance date: this option is updated according to trial balance uploads performed on the platform;

Reference date: a date can be set to always show the same selected timeframe.

Currency: changes the type of currency in the graph;

Text color: changes the color of the text in the graph which can be changed by means of a color palette or by its hexadecimal code;

Enable cursor: data is shown when the cursor passes over a certain place of the graph;

Enable export: in this option, a menu is shown in the upper right corner of the graph. The menu allows to select options for image exporting, data, and image printing;

Display scroll: touching scroll allows to bring graph points nearer, as in a zoom function.

Display in form of percentage: values are multiplied by 100 and presented as percentages in the graph;

Enable rotation: rotate the graph by 90º;

Accumulate values: accumulates values in the subsequent bars;

Show values: displays values in graphs;

Enable legend: allows placing a legend in the graph, detailing the indicators. Click on the legend name for the indicator to remain hidden in the graph. Click again to make it appear, facilitating this way visualization and comprehension of the information;

Overlay Indicators: merges two or more indicators in a single column;

Column stacked 100 %: standardizes columns of the same size, regardless of the value;

Multiple axes: it is possible to have more than one Y axis, facilitating visualization of two or more distinct indicators;

Maximum restricted size: changes graph size considering negative values

Y Axis: allows to name the axis;

Y Axis (minimum): changes dimensions (indicates its beginning);

Y Axis (maximum): changes dimensions (indicates its ending);

Decimal places: changes the number of decimal places;

Font size: changes the size of graph fonts.

Indicator Tab

To Insert data, click on the Indicators tab, on the right side of the graph edit modal.

Add as many indicators as wanted. For each of them, it is possible to customize information, as name, color, balloon text and others. A formula must be indicated to generate the indicator and for this end, just click on the button “Edit formula“.

Change Graph color: changes the indicator color in the graph;

Balloon Text: adds a customizable text to the graph;

Opacity: changes column color opacity;

Column width (%): changes column width in percentage scale;

Marker: adds a form per column into the graph;

Tipo: changes the type of graph;

Value position in the column: changes positions of column values or indicator lines;

Variation between columns: shows the actual or percentage change between the columns, indicated visually by means of an upward (positive) arrow or downward (negative) arrow;

Variation between periods: shows the actual or percentage change between specific time frames, indicated visually by a horizontal arrow;

Display CMGR (Compound Monthly Growth Rate): this indicator compares different periods, not necessarily from the first to the last month of the graph. It is an alternative to the so-called CAGR, which provides an annual analysis. It can be called “composite growth rate”.

Edit formula: in the formula edit field it is possible to bring information as: name of accounting account, management structure (assets, liabilities, or result), or also a premise of its Financial Modeling. For this end start to type the name you want in Definition of the indicator, and select the option found.

To help interpret the typed formula, a legend is available divided by colors. The inserted name will assume one of the colors, indicating the origin of the information.

By adding mathematical operators (+, –, * or /) it is possible to create mathematical operations with the information.

In the second tab is a filter that shows from where the information originates, by companies and cost centers.

After finished, click on the Save Indicator button.

Returning to the Edit graph will show the indicator created in a certain timeframe, in the graph.

Column tab

In certain types of graphs, it is possible to create logics for each of the columns. This formula is also described in Guide to use the Actual x Forecast Panel.

To facilitate, type the column name or search in the list.

It is also possible to include new columns, by clicking on , next to search.

By clicking on the equal sign, in front of the column name, holding and dragging it, will change the column order.

Clicking on , the column is renamed, and its logic is changed.

Clicking on , the column is excluded.
