Latest topics

To bring greater dynamism to the analyses, it is possible to create contents for the Dashboards directly from the tables in the Financial Statements board.

To do that, just click with the right button on any line of the Management Structure and then click in the option “Create content for the Dashboards”

Next, you need to choose in which kind of graph you want to display the information. The available graphs are Evolution, Pizza and Pareto, each one has specificities that we shall broach next.

Standard graph configurations

Configurations tab

  1. There are two tabs in all graphs: the first one for specific configurations and the second one for filter configurations;
  2. On the first tab you have to define the reference date. If you want the graph to follow the date of the last imported balance sheet, all you have to do is to select the option “Most recent date of the system”, so at each new import, the graphs shall be automatically updated. You can define the number of months that shall be calculated in the indicator displayed in your graph;
  3. Afterwards it is necessary to indicate in which panel the graph shall be created. All the existing panels shall be in the selection box. And, if you still have no panel, it shall be created automatically. To know more about the panels, access the file Introduction to the Dashboards;
  4. There are pre-configured color templates, they are located below all the configurations.

Filters tab

On the filters tab you find the same options available on the Financial Statements filters.

When clicking on “Apply”, then the graph preview shall be automatically updated with the corresponding values.

Hint

If you create a specific graph per Company, cost center or tag, remember to indicate this configuration on the graph name. In this manner, you shall have greater clarity when analyzing yours

Specific graph configurations

Evolution graph

The evolution graphs display information from specific periods. In the library there are options for monthly, quarterly, semester or annual evolution.

  1. Consider previous year displays a new series with the values of the previous year of each corresponding month;
  2. Consider forecast displays a line values of the selected forecast scenario;
  3. On Consider Variation it is necessary to define if the comparison shall be between periods, i.e., displays a percentage variation between the current month and the previous one, or if the variation shall be against the selected forecast scenario. The latter shall only be available if the previous option “Consider forecast” is marked;
  4. Consider average displays a red dashed line indicating the average of the months;
  5. Inverts the graph values, multiplying by -1;
  6. Consider detailing activates a view of the levels of the selected structures; in this manner, it is possible to browse through the indicator levels Image of the graph on the panel considering the detailing
  7. On consider the growth rate it is necessary to select the period in which the rate shall be entered.
  8. Hide the lines displayed on the graph background;
  9. Shows the values of each column

Pareto Graph

When selecting a Management Structure to be displayed on the Pareto graph, then the daughter structures shall be graph columns, ordinates of larger to smaller value. The graph has a percentage line, line, which indicates how much each column corresponds to the total.

This graph is used to understand which variable has the largest portion of the whole.

The specific configurations of this graph are:

  1. Group little expressive values, in which the columns corresponding to less than 3% of the total are unified in a same column;
  2. Hide the lines displayed on the graph background;
  3. Shows the values of each column.

Pizza Graph

Pizza graphs display the portion corresponding to the total in each slice of the graph.

Then, when selecting a Management Structure in the Financial Statements, the daughter structures shall correspond to the slices of the pizza graph. The specific configurations of this graph are:

  1. Slices that represent less than 10, 5 or 3% can be grouped on a single slice called “Others”;
  2. Shows the values of each slice in percentage and the nominal value.
